Welcome to the website for your Photography and Film, TV & Media classes.  Here you'll find projects, tutorials, announcements and other necessary and helpful information for our classes.

I'm Mr. Elsner, your teacher for Photo and Film.  I'm joining Mission Vista this year, coming over from Vista High where I've taught for over 5 years.  Before I became a teacher, I worked in Hollywood on a number of television shows.  After leaving Hollywood and coming back to San Diego, I started working in Photoshop and computer graphics and became an artist working on Playstation 2 games for Sony.

A year ago, I received a double lung transplant, which was amazing.  One thing I have to do from now on though, is take medicine to turn off my immune system.  This keeps my body from rejecting my new lungs, but it also makes it hard for me to fight off colds and flus.  This summer I got pneumonia and have been in the hospital trying to get over it.  I hope that I get better soon and am in class with you as soon as possible.  In the meantime, I am thankful for Mrs. Wallner to take over the class while I am out.
